RED & WHITE

COTILLION debutantes

ABOUT THE DEBUTANTE PROGRAM

Empowering Tomorrow's Leaders Through Tradition

The inaugural Red and White Cotillion was held in 2005 and became the Foundation’s signature event. Since its beginning the Foundation has introduced more than 200 young women to society through the program and awarded more than $100,000 in scholarships. Each year the debutantes attend a variety of workshops that have included self-esteem and self-care, financial planning, etiquette, college life, and career planning. Additionally, they have completed community service activities and hosted a Mother-Daughter tea.

Board Members along with the Debutantes raise money that goes towards scholarships. The debutante participants must be a junior or senior in one of the Hampton Roads high schools.
